The name of our restaurant comes from Mount Erciyes (tr. Erciyes Dağı), located 25 km south of Kayseri, Turkey. Erciyes is the highest mountain in central Anatolia (3916 metres), and has an extinct volcano located at its peak.
Erciyes Restaurant established nearly 20 years ago. Erciyes started to serve its customers as a small take-away shop. As years past, the Saracoglu family decided to extend its small take-away shop to a restaurant and a take-away place, as Erciyes started to become very popular in Surry Hills – Redfern area. Now we intend to do the same thing here which is to build a Turkish food culture in Brighton Le Sands.
Friday and Saturday evenings, we have two live belly dancing shows each evening that entertain our guests with authentic belly dances as they enjoy their food with their friends and families. After the shows you dance with Turkish music (great opportunity to advance your belly dancing skills). Click here to get in touch with us
We need to mention that it is highly recommended to book in advanced as the seats runs out quickly. Erciyes Restaurant is one of the most popular places in town to celebrate birthdays, Hens and Bucks parties, even for engagements parties. The restaurant has a set-menu deal which is $40 per/person gives you an affordable weekend fun.
